We are seeking professional and safety-conscious Bus Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, and courteous transportation services for school groups, corporate clients, and private charters.
Key Responsibilities
Operate buses safely and in accordance with road regulations and company policies
Transport passengers efficiently to and from designated locations
Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
Adhere to Austrek Tours’ safety standards and procedures
Assist passengers as needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey
Requirements
Valid MR (Medium Rigid) or HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver’s License
Current Driver’s Accreditation (NSW or relevant state)
Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet of buses and coaches are maintained in top condition, providing safe and reliable transport for our clients. This role involves regular vehicle inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep our fleet running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on buses and coaches, ensuring they meet all safety and operational standards
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
Ensure compliance with industry standards, road safety regulations, and company procedures
Assist with the installation of new parts and upgrades as necessary
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly
Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure minimal downtime of the fleet
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally with experience in buses, trucks, or large vehicles
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach to hours
A valid driver’s license (MR or HR preferred)
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Ability to pass a Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing professional and courteous support to clients
Scheduling and Coordination: Assist with the scheduling of bus charters, coordinate bookings, and ensure all arrangements are confirmed
